Congratulations to the New Orleans Saints for winning Super Bowl XLIV! Now that they’ve hoisted the Lombardi Trophy and planned the parade, it’s time to look at the NFL offseason. There are a lot of big questions facing teams this offseason and I’ll countdown the top 10. Here we go:

10. Do the Steelers make a big personnel move? – They went from Super Bowl Champions to missing the playoffs the past season. Do they feel the need to make a change to shake things up or do they stand pat?

9. Will Anyone Want TO? Does a team sign the free agent Terrell Owens. I think he’s on his last leg but might be able to get one more season from a desperate team. I’m so sick of him I didn’t want to mention him here but you know he’ll find his way into the news.

8. Who does Al Davis stretch for in this year’s draft? The Raiders continually seem to shock us with drafting players that they seem to greatly overvalue and are busts. Who will it be this year?

7. Who replaces Kurt Warner as the Cardinals’ starting quarterback? Is it Matt Leinart? Do they trade for a QB? Leinart was up and down playing this year so the Cardinals can’t be too confident in what they’ll get from him.

6. Do the Bears Finally Focus on Their Offense? Last year, they showed it some attention in bring in Jay Cutler, but he showed this year, he’s only as good as the people who can catch his passes. He has to get a reliable target, that Chicago lacks. The Bears have Mike Martz to coordinate the offense but will they upgrade the talent to be in the playoff race next season?

5. Where Does LaDainian Tomlinson End Up? It looks like he’s finished in San Diego but he wants to play and could still help a team. I think his days of 25 touches a game are over but he should still be good for 10. I think he fits in with question 10. He could end up in Pittsburgh.

4. Who is the Eagles QB? Do the Eagles keep all three of their QB’s? Donovan McNabb, Michael Vick and Kevin Kolb are all there but it’s hard to imagine they’re all there come the start of the season. One could be headed to the desert to replace Kurt Warner.

3. Where Does Tim Tebow End Up? The Florida Gator leaves behind a stellar college career and is off to a rocky start in transitioning to the NFL. When does he get drafted? Where will he line up when he gets to training camp?

2. Will there be Progress Towards a Labor Deal? The NFL and the Players Union seem entrenched right now and not willing budge. Does this cause a dark cloud to form over this offseason and the start of the 2010 regular season?

1. Does Brett Favre stay or go? If he simply comes out and says he’s playing next year this story goes away. Otherwise, it’ll linger until he either comes back or opening weekend kicks off and he’s not on the field.

As you can see, teams have their work cut out for them this offseason and there are some big questions to be answered. You never know what your favorite team’s roster will look like on opening weekend. Get ready for an overload on Brett Favre, TO and more as it should be an interesting NFL offseason!
